Disney World Makes Operational Change at Trader Sam's
Due to overwhelming popularity, Disney has made a new change to Trader Sam's Grog Grotto operational hours at Walt Disney World.

Both Disneyland and Disney World are home to Trader Sam's. Guests can find a tropical hideaway at Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar.
Just steps from Magic Kingdom, Trader Sam's Grog Grotto at the Polynesian is a must-do activity to add to your itinerary. Trader Sam's Grog Grotto and Tiki Bar is, hands down, the most popular lounge in Disney World. It has such a laid-back and relaxing island vibe, and everyone wants a table here.

Trader Sam's Grog Grotto
Even if you haven't ever heard of Trader Sam's Grog Grotto, you've likely heard Trader Sam's name! He is the famed Adventureland explorer who traveled around the world.
The demand is pretty high for an opportunity to enter Trader Sam's at Walt Disney World. Since advanced dining reservations are not available, Guests would line up an hour to an hour and a half to be first on the waiting list.
Due to this popularity, Walt Disney World is making operational changes to allow even more opportunities to enjoy this unique lounge.
Trader Sam's Operating Change
New operating hours now appear on the Walt Disney World website for Trader Sam's Grog Grotto. The popular lounge will now open at 11:00 am daily.

The closing time of midnight remains unchanged. This is a great opportunity for more guests to enjoy this unique lounge, and hopefully decrease the wait times.
