Fire at Magic Kingdom Attraction
Yesterday, a fire occurred at a Magic Kingdom attraction. Find out how this impacted Guests.
Fires at Walt Disney World

There have been several fires at Disney world this year. Three of the fires have happened at Epcot.
There have been three fires at EPCOT this year.
The first incident was in the France Pavilion. You can read more about that HERE. The second fire occurred at a popcorn stand. You can read the details on that HERE.
The most recent fire occurred earlier this month. This fire happened in the France Pavilion and was luckily put out quickly and without incident. You can see the video HERE.
Fire at Magic Kingdom

Yesterday, December 13, 2025, it was reported that one of the cars on the Tomorrowland Speedway caught fire! Cast Members worked quickly to put out the fire with a fire extinguisher.
Flames were visible behind the seats of the Tomorrowland Speedway car.
The fire was in the back (behind the seats) of one of the cars and Guests reported seeing the flames. Fortunately, we have not heard any reports of any injuries to Guests or Cast Members from this fire.

It has been reported that the attraction did not close during the fire, and that Guests were directed by the fire.
It appears that the Tomorrowland Speedway did not close for the fire, and Guests were directed past the fire in the other lanes.
