Disney Changes Release Dates for Limited Edition Pins
Disney has made some huge adjustments to the release dates for several sought-after LE pins following a major website crash on Pin Tuesday. Now collectors may have a chance to get the pins they missed out on.
Pin Tuesday Woes
On Tuesday, November 9, 2025, many Disney pin collectors dutifully logged on to the Disney Store website just before 8 AM PT. The mission? To acquire LE pins, specifically pins that would close out their Windows of Attraction and Hundred Acre Wood series collections.
However, frustration mounted with the website crashed and malfunctioned for several hours. You can read about the whole ordeal right HERE.
Some collectors reported being able to add pins to the cart but receiving errors at checkout. Others never got to see the pins at all.
Disney Takes Action
Some people were able to grab LE Emperor's New Groove and Nightmare Before Christmas pins along with new holiday releases. However, it seems that virtually no one was able to purchase the hot ticket Windows of Attraction Sleeping Beauty Castle, nor the Hundred Acre Wood Pooh and Cristopher Robin Set.
People worried that perhaps shop bots grabbed up all of the pins. Many collectors resigned themsleves to either never finishing the series or resorting to the mercy of the secondary market.
However, not all is lost. Collectors will be happy to know that Disney CHANGED the release dates for some of the pins!
New Release Dates for HOT LE Disney Pins
According to Disneystore.com, several pins now have new release dates. Here is the lineup in the website:
- Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse Limited Edition Slider Pin: Dec. 16, 8 AM PT
- Private Access: Winnie the Pooh & Piglet Holiday Pin-Limited Edition: Dec. 17, 8 AM PT
- Sleeping Beauty Castle Limited Edition Pin - Disney Windows of Attraction: Dec. 18, 8 AM PT
- Limited Release Winnie the Pooh and Christopher Robin Pin Set: Dec. 18, 8 AM PT
Collectors will have another chance to buy the pins they missed when the website crashed.
Now collectors will have another chance to shop for the pins they missed. Or, at least, they will have more chances to stress over hopping on the website and hoping for the best. Next week will surley be interesting in Pin Land!
