Guests Now Blocked at Magic Kingdom
This is not the news that Walt Disney World Guests were planning for. See how you can avoid being blocked from the "Happiest Place on Earth."
Disney World Crowd Calendar

You are planning a trip to Walt Disney World! You have your resort room booked and transportation planned, and the next big decision is which parks to visit. One great way to decide which park to visit is the Crowd Calendar available on Character Locator.
Secondly, Park hours are a great way to plan which park you would like to visit each day. Walt Disney World posts standard park hours in advance, often extending these park hours.
Lastly, check the Park Reservation calendar. This is another good step to see how busy the parks may be. If a park is "Sold Out" for Park Reservations, pack your patience if you plan to visit that day.
Magic Kingdom Sold Out

Park reservations are still required for guests with non-date-based tickets and Annual Passholders. These reservations are limited, and if a park is unavailable, it is "sold out" for these select guests. This is a pretty good indicator that this Disney Park will be very busy on that date.
Now, both Christmas Day, December 25, 2025, and New Year's Eve, December 31, 2025, are showing "Sold Out" for all Annual Passholder tiers.
Guests with non-date-based tickets are now blocked from booking a Magic Kingdom Park reservation starting December 24, all of the way through December 31, 2025.
Tips for Sold Out Parks

Disney highly recommends that you make your theme park reservation as soon as you complete your admission purchase, as availability can change until the theme park reservation is finalized.
Guests with non-date-based tickets are now blocked from booking a Magic Kingdom Park reservation starting December 24, all of the way through December 31, 2025.
If you are an Annual Passholder, make your Theme Park Reservations quickly for key holiday dates (Christmas Eve and New Year's Day) to secure your park admission.

Today you have to be a fool to go to Disney World unless you’re a junkie for aggravation and throwing your money away all because these fat executives are robbing everybody that walks through the gate paying big dollars and then you’re being told you can’t go in or you have to make a reservation to go there are they kidding? I’ve been there 20 times I will never return or take my grandkids there either. It’s just not worth it. I can stay home and get aggravated. I will be visiting Universal Studios from now on the hell with that rat and bob iger too it is now because the most unhappiest place on earth you need a home equity line just to go there once . Even staying on property at one of their hotels you have to pay to park your car after spending thousands of dollars give me a break you greedy budget pigs.
well said they have taken a lot of the perks of being a pass holder and this reservation crap is nothing but a pain in the !.
the fact that you have to make a reservation to attend a theme park is absolutely ridiculous. NEVER. NEVER. NEVER did I ever have to make a reservation to go to Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, or any other Disney park. This is nonsense. if you go-to Florida you're going to go to Disney. and you get there and are told no, you don't have a reservation. what is this Clark Griswald getting to WallyWorld to find it's closed. Iger is charging prices to the point most families will only ever be able to go to WDW once in their lifetime. and than you tell them they spent their kids college funds to go to your business and tell them they can't enter....woe the greed is literally overflowing now. plus half of the magic kingdom main attractions are closed due to stupid unnecessary changes. heck, you can't even see the Christmas tree or gingerbread house at Grand Floridian....but it's ok. there's 17 new bars coming. stupid
