Opening Date for Tangled's Disney Ride Debute in the US
Rapunzel's Tangled movie is finally coming to a Disney attraction in the USA. And now we know when it will open!
Tangled on a Disney Ride
It has taken way too long for Tangled to finally be featured on a Disney attraction in North American Disney Parks. The popular movie, featuring Rapunzel and Flynn Rider, has its own ride abroad at Fantasy Springs in Tokyo DisneySea.
But, here in the U.S.A., Tangled's presence has been limited to character meets, stage shows, photo ops, and parades. Oh, and who can forget, Rapunzel has her own bathroom in the Magic Kingdom too.
But, very soon, Tangled will finally be featured on a ride in the US! And, the opening date is next week!
Storybook Land Canal Boats
Over in Disneyland, the Imagineers have been hard at work refurbishing a classic Disneyland attraction. Storybook Land Canal Boats is a charming attraction that takes visitors on an open-air tour of miniature, hand-built cottages, towns, and palaces from beloved Disney movies.
Recently, we revealed that the refurbishment will bring Tangled to the attraction! Rapunzel's tower will now be part of the tour. It will also feature music and plenty of other charming touches from the film.

When Will the Ride Reopen
When will the ride begin? It happens next week! The Disneyland calendar has hours for Storybook Land Canal Boats posted for November 14, 2025! So you should be able to enjoy the new additions then, unless something changes.
Rapunzel debutes on November 14, 2025.
It isn't much, but we'll take it. Ultimately, the ideal would be to see something of the same quality as the Tangled attraction in Tokyo DisneySea. But it certainly is at least an upgrade.
