What Exactly is Life Day in Disney Parks
If you have not heard of Life Day in Disney Parks, you are not alone. Here is a rundown of what it is and everything you can expect, including great food and fun!
What is Life Day
If you are not deeply entrenched in Star Wars lore, you may never have heard about Life Day! In the Star Wars Universe, Life Day is a Wookie Holiday celebrating joy, family, and harmony!
Life Day was first introduced to the world in the 1978 Star Wars Holiday Special. It is traditionally held at the Tree of Life on the Wookiee planet Kashyyyk.
And now it is also celebrated in Disneyland! And, you can celebrate in Disney on November 17, 2025.
Life Day Eats
Disneyland is bringing plenty of food to the parks in celebration of Life Day. You can actually start eating a little early because the new eats will trickle in on November 14!
Here is a rundown of all the special Star Wars Food!
- Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo
- Felucian Kefta Garden Spread - Impossible™ Meatballs, Roasted Butternut Squash Purée, Tzatziki, Toasted Sage, Pita Chips
- Kashyyyk Cake: Brownie base, raspberry sauce, tiramisu, and dark chocolate mousse
- Endorian Roasted Chicken Salad: Marinated chicken, mixed greens, roasted seasonal vegetables, pumpkin seeds, and green curry ranch
- Kublag Curry: Herb rice, curry-spiced shrimp, creamy chicken curry, cilantro, and feta crumbles
- Oga's Cantina
- Joh Blastoh Sangria Gocola: Red wine, apple vodka, apple cider, orange-pineapple juice, and cinnamon, falernum, pomegranate syrups rimmed with a blend of cinnamon sugar, spiced nutmeg, and ground cloves topped with star anise and an apple chip
- Millaflower Toast: Cinnamon-swirl toast, whipped ricotta cream, cheesecake frosting, strawberries, lychee pearls, chocolate crumble, and matcha powder

What would Life Day be without an appearance from Chewbacca? You can meet him in Disneyland beginning November 17.
