Lopez visited Magic Kingdom on November 24, 2023. He claims that Disney did not account for the wind to keep Guests safe during Happily Ever After.

Lopez was hit in the eye by a "smoldering fireworks debris falling from the sky." The complaint shares that he has permanent scarring and suffered serious bodily injury. He is suing for damages of more than $50,000.

It was a windy night on March 12, 2022. Disney's Enchantment was the nighttime firework show at Magic Kingdom. The show included projection mapping as well as fireworks. It is thought that the strong wind conditions caused debris from the fireworks to shift.

  1. Another Greedy money seeking person that sees Disney as his cash cow.

Disney has done fireworks for a very long time and ONLY now that everyone seems to be suing Disney or Universal for things they shouldn't have done in the 1st place like a wheel chair bound person who's family suing Universal for his death when he shouldn'thave been on that ride in the 1st place, people suing Disney for things any normal person would know things can happen.

Disney should make everyone going on a ride sign a waver of responsibility making lines so long a person will get on 2 rides a visit.

I don't really care as I live near Disney and can go back as often as I like.
