Disney Nighttime Shows
Disney Parks are like no other amusement park in the world. They not only offer great attractions but also unbeatable entertainment options. Guests visiting the Disney Parks are transported to a place where anything is possible if you just believe.
When the sun sets at Walt Disney World, this simply sets the stage for amazing nighttime shows. One of the newest nighttime entertainment options is the "Disney Starlight" parade at Magic Kingdom.
After this new addition, Disney fans are wondering what could be the next nighttime entertainment for the Disney Parks.
Disney Drone Show
In 2016, Disney Springs offered an early attempt at a drone-based nighttime show. It was met with moderate success, but the technology was experimental at that time. As shown above, Disneyland Paris was the first to use drones in a major nighttime spectacular.
In 2024, Disney World announced a new drone show, "Disney Dreams That Soar," which delighted guests nightly at Disney Springs. This show ended on September 2, 2024.
Many hoped that "Disney Dreams That Soar" would return for the summer of 2025, but with no luck. However, Disney drones may still be coming back.
New Disney Nighttime Testing

Disney has not shared when or even if a drone show may return, but this is a great sign. We love having multiple options to enjoy nighttime entertainment at the Disney Parks.
