Walt Disney World Resort Perks
Everyone loves free perks, and Walt Disney World offers many great perks for Guests. Staying at one of the Walt Disney World Resorts offers a few perks. One of the best perks of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort is Early Theme Park Hours. All guests utilizing this benefit can take advantage of entering the parks 30 minutes before the parks officially open.
Many guests choose to stay at a Walt Disney World Resort to be in the "Disney Bubble". By adding fun characters and entertainment at their Resort, this is a great way to continue the Disney magic even after leaving the parks.
Another perk that many guests enjoyed was free admission to one of the water parks on check-in day! Due to the popularity of this perk, this is now extended into 2026.

New Perk at Hollywood Studios
One perk that recently changed for Disney Visa Cardholders is meeting Darth Vader at Star Wars Launch Bay. Since this location is now closed, the new character meet and greet for Disney Visa Cardholders is for Olaf at Celebrity Spotlight in Hollywood Studios.

This is a bit disappointing for Guests hoping to meet Darth Vader. There are two new meet and greets for Darth Vader and Chewbacca now available at Hollywood Studios. These are both available for all Guests.
Now, a new perk is announced for Disney Visa Cardholders with Darth Vader...sort of. This Disney Visa PhotoPass is located at the entrance to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge as you exit Toy Story Land. Your complimentary photo will be enhanced with Holycron Darth Vader projection.
Disney Visa Cardholders must show their card to enjoy this free perk that is offered daily from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm (hours of operation subject to change).
