Breaking: The Bluey Movie Release Date Has Been Revealed

Hooray! A feature-length Bluey movie is coming to the silver screen. We FINALLY have a release date! Here is everything you need to know!

Back in December, Bluey fans got a huge announcement! We found out that the beloved animated TV series would be getting its own feature-length film!

Disney acquired the global theatrical rights to create a Bluey film! The film will be created under the Disney Banner.

Fans of the show will be delighted to know that this film will be written and directed by Bluey creator Joe Brumm. While Disney will own the rights, the film is a Ludo Studio production in collaboration with BBC Studios to maintain the show's unique charm that we have all fallen in love with.

Details

The film is being described as a CG-animated feature. The team is drawing on the talents of producer Amber Naismith (Happy Feet and Lego Movie) and co-director Richard Jeffery (Bluey Season 1-3) to bring it to life.

Happily, the voices you know and love are returning! Melanie Zanetti and David McCormack will reprise their roles as Chilli and Bandit, Bingo and Bluey's adoring parents.

Even the Australian government is supporting the film! Support for the film comes through Producer Offset and Screen Australia, and through the Queensland Government through Screen Queensland's Post, Digital and Visual Effects Incentive.
