As many Disney fans know, Remy's Ratatouille Adventure first opened at Disneyland Paris on July 10, 2014. We were ecstatic to learn that we would be receiving this trackless ride attraction in our very own Walt Disney World.

Since this attraction first opened in 2021, it is quickly become a fan favorite at the France Pavilion at EPCOT.

Remy's Ratatouille Adventure has seen a few changes over the years at Epcot. First, with the switch from a virtual queue and later offering a single rider line.

Disney just announced that Remy's Ratatouille Adventure will close this October for some pretty big updates at Disneyland Paris.

The most major change will be that this attraction will shift from being a 3D ride to a 2D ride. More changes will include updates to the queue and new props being added to this attraction.

Since this attraction is over 10 years old at this Disney Park, these will be welcome changes. Remy's Ratatouille Adventure will reopen in spring 2026, but no exact date has been given.

Here is a look at what Walt Disney Imagineering has planned:

This leads many to wonder how this may affect Remy's Ratatouille Adventure at EPCOT. Could we also see a change in the future from 3D to 2D for this attraction?

At this time, Disney has not shared any news about an update for EPCOT. With so many attractions closed and new lands in development, we are keeping our fingers crossed that no major updates will affect this favorite attraction for now.
