Disney Announces an Incredible New Villain for Halloween

If you love Disney villains, get excited for a rare treat. Someone new is going to be attending this year's Halloween party, and you have just got to see who!

Everyone loves a happy ending, it's true, where the main character finds a happily ever after. But, would we even have stories without antagonists?

Villains are certainly having a moment. In fact, they are having an entire Era.

Disney is really leaning into the villain fandom. Villains received their own new show at Disney's Hollywood Studios. They are getting their own land in the Magic Kingdom (hopefully, big announcements will drop soon). And of course, their season is revving up with the start of Disney Parks' Halloween festivities!

A New Villain to Meet

Soon, you can meet an incredible new villain at one of Disney's Halloween Parties. Buddy is all grown up!

Disney just announced that you can meet Syndrome, the nemesis Mr. Incredible didn't even realize he had. Filled with villainous rage and a desire to be known as a true hero himself, Syndrome will debut for the first time at Oogie Boogie Bash in Disneyland on select nights from August 17 through October 31.  

You will find him along the treat trails. He has his very own. He is sure to be popular, so don't miss out.

Even More Disney Villains

And, if you were hoping to meet the Mistress of All Evil, you are in luck! You'll be able to deal with Maleficent and all the powers of her imagination on each night on the treat trail behind Grizzly River Run!

Syndrome and Maleficent will be on the treat trails.

And of course, there will be plenty of other characters at Oogie Boogie Bash, too! And remember, you can get spook-tacular popcorn buckets to commemorate your visit.
