Disney World Park Hours Extended and We Know Why

Park hours are a great way to plan which park you would like to visit each day. Walt Disney World posts rather standard park hours in advance, and many times we find them extending park hours. This is great news when you are planning your trip to enjoy both an earlier entry and a later park closing.

And if you're staying at a Disney Resort, take advantage of the extra 30 minutes each morning to enter the parks with the early entry benefit. Take a look at previously extended hours announced HERE.

Magic Kingdom Extended Hours

Disney adjusted the operating hours for Magic Kingdom on the first night of the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and has continued to adjust hours for many more Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party dates.

The next date to offer earlier park hours is Friday, August 29, 2025. The Magic Kingdom will now open at 8:00 for all guests (previously 9:00 am) and 7:30 am for Early Entry (previously 8:30 am).

Hollywood Studios Extended Hours

Also on August 29, 2025, Disney's Hollywood Studios will offer extended hours, staying open until 9:30 pm (previously open until 9:00 pm). This is a significant change for Disney's Hollywood Studios, as it also impacts the Extended Evening Hours offered on this date.

This change now offers Walt Disney World Deluxe Guests to enjoy Extended Evening Hours from 9:30 pm until 11:30 pm.

If you are visiting Walt Disney World on August 29, 2025, also be aware that this is the start of the Destination D23 Fan Event. This may bring even more crowds into the parks who are visiting for this event.
