Is the New Disney Sleepy Hollow Menu Still Magical?
Disney decided to change a fan favorite at Sleepy Hollow, but thankfully, it brought it back with a few minor changes. Check out our review to see if Sleepy Hollow is still worth the hype.
Sleepy Hollow at Magic Kingdom
Sleepy Hollow is located in Liberty Square at Magic Kingdom. You actually pass it on your way to the Hub from Liberty Square. The menu is rather simple with corn dogs, waffle sandwiches, and funnel cakes, but this is a must-do for many Disney foodies.
Unfortunately, a while back, the waffle sandwiches were completely removed from the menu. This includes the Sweet-and-Spicy Chicken Waffle Sandwich and the Fresh Fruit and Chocolate-Hazelnut Waffle Sandwich.
This removal did bring new menu options with the traditional waffle being replaced by a Mickey-shaped waffle. Although we once thought everything was better Mickey-shaped, this did not seem to be the case for this new menu change.
New Sleepy Hollow Menu
During a recent visit to the Magic Kingdom, I (Donna) stopped at Sleepy Hollow to try the newly returned Waffle with Chocolate-Hazelnut Spread, Bananas, Berries, and Whipped Cream.
The best part is that the waffle is once again a delicious, crispy waffle and no longer the dense Mickey Mouse-shaped waffle. There are also a few more subtle changes.
The first being that instead of a smearing of the chocolate-hazelnut spread as previously, this is more of a very light drizzle. Along with this change came a big dollop of whipped cream that was not part of this snack previously. The amount of fruit appears to be the same.
Sleepy Hollow Review
The photo featured above was the original Fresh Fruit and Chocolate-Hazelnut Waffle Sandwich. Personally, I missed the extra chocolate-hazelnut spread. You can purchase a side of this spread for $1.00, and I will be taking advantage of this add-on for my next stop at Sleepy Hollow.

I was not a huge fan of the dollop of whipped cream, but my youngest thought this was a very nice addition. Although the fruit waffle is a bit different, it is still a Magic Kingdom favorite for me and my family.
