Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is one of the most popular spots at Disney's Hollywood Studios, but there is a new change that you need to plan for.

Disney's Hollywood Studios is a favorite Park for many guests, offering big thrills, exciting adventures to a galaxy far, far away, and time to play around in "Andy's Backyard" at Toy Story Land.

Recently, "Andy's Backyard" has been abuzz with construction walls at several locations. The first was more like construction shrubbery at Woody's Lunchbox as work was completed to provide more covered seating.

Secondly, Disney filed a permit for "General Construction" at the address of Toy Story Mania. Although unfortunate to take place during summer vacations, operating hours appear as normal for this attraction.

Galaxy's Edge Update

New construction walls are now located as guests exit Toy Story Land and transition into Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. When leaving Toy Story Land, the new walls are located on the right-hand side.

The walls have been painted a similar color to the stone work located in Galaxy's Edge. This now blocks off this entire pathway.

These new walls are located across from the popular Grogu MagicShot location. Guests may experience some congestion in this pathway. At this time, it is unclear what work may be completed in this space.

This pathway is also under construction as guests exit Toy Story Land. Earlier, we shared that new construction walls in Toy Story Land near the Toy Story restrooms, and as the land transitions into Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.

We heard rumors from Disney pals that a snack stand may be coming to this location. While this is not confirmed, this would be a great addition. With two construction projects nearby, this may affect crowd traffic flow.
