Warning Issued to Walt Disney World Guests
Guests hoping to soak in the Disney magic are now issued a warning that may affect their plans. Find out what this may mean for guests visiting and for your future trips to Walt Disney World.
Disney World Warnings

There are many things to consider when planning your trip to Walt Disney World. From rainstorms to hurricane planning, Florida weather can put a few wrinkles even in the best-laid travel plans.
With a park located in Central Florida, Walt Disney World tries to update guests on weather advisories as quickly as possible.
Florida has been hit pretty hard this year with record low temperatures, a fog advisory, and even major disruptions at the Orlando International Airport.
Disney World Flood Watch

Today, July 15, 2025, the National Weather Service has now issued a "Flood Watch" for a wide portion of east central Florida, including Orange County, Osceola County, Lake County, Seminole County, and Brevard County.
This will affect the entire Walt Disney World Resort from 9:57 am until 8:00 pm.
Weather forecasters share, "An area of low pressure pushing inland from the east coast is expected to bring persistent bands of heavy showers and thunderstorms across Central Florida throughout the day."
What this means for Guests

As many Disney guests are well aware, the Walt Disney World Theme Parks often flood, and this "flood watch" may create pools of water collecting around the park.

Disney under a dome ….. yes
I've been on the property during a hurricane and I felt completely safe. I actually spoke with people from Florida who had come to WDW because " it's the safest place in the state during a storm"
Thank you for sharing your experience. Disney does a great job caring for guests even with crazy Florida weather.
