We love it when Disney gives us an update on the baby animals. Find out how these baby chicks are doing and where you can find them now.
Disney Babies

Disney is a great place to visit if you love baby animals. We know lots of our own Kenny the Pirate Crew members are huge animal fans. I (Heather) love catching a glimpse of the Disney babies that call Disney World home. Some of my favorites are baby Cora, baby Bakso, Malayan argus pheasant chicks, baby Tucker, baby otters, and even baby flamingos!
Both EPCOT and Disney’s Animal Kingdom partner with Disney Conservation through the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) Species Survival Plan. The program strives to protect the magic of wildlife, and the baby animals you find in habitats and aquariums in the park are products of the program’s careful process.
Malayan Great Argus Pheasant

Back in February, we shared that Malayan great argus pheasant had arrived at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park.
The Malayan argus pheasant chicks were in the aviary on Maharajah Jungle Trek when they made their debut! The chicks are raised only by the females and become independent very fast.
Pheasant Chick Update and New Location

Now, these chicks are growing fast and ready to spread their wings! Each chick received their own identification tag before heading to their new home. Check out the video below:
The Malayan great argus pheasant chicks can now be found in the flying fox habitat.
The chicks have been moved to the flying fox habitat in the Maharajah Jungle Trek. In this new habitat, the chicks have lots of space to grow! Be sure to look for them on your next visit.
