We love sharing Disney baby animal news. Three new additions have made their debut at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
Disney Babies

Disney is a great place to visit if you love baby animals. We know lots of our own Kenny the Pirate Crew members are huge animal fans. I (Heather) love catching a glimpse of the Disney babies that call Animal Kingdom home. Some of my favorites are baby Cora, baby Bakso, Malayan argus pheasant chicks, and the most recent addition baby Tucker.
Both EPCOT and Disney’s Animal Kingdom partner with Disney Conservation through the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) Species Survival Plan. The program strives to protect the magic of wildlife, and the baby animals you find in habitats and aquariums in the park are products of the program’s careful process.
Baby Otters Have Arrived

On Friday, April 11th, three new otters made their debut at Disney’s Animal Kingdom! Butternut, Biscuit, and Potato are the three new adorable otter pups.
The otter pups were born in December and are now making their Animal Kingdom debut!

The otter pups spent the last few months backstage bonding with their parents. Otter mom Mae, and dad Kevin took turns caring for the pups and taught them how to be otters.
Where to Find the Otter Pups

Butternut, Biscuit, and Potato can be found at Disney’s Animal Kingdom at Otter Grotto. Here they will swim and explore.
Butternut, Biscuit, and Potato are Asian small-clawed otters. The Asian small-clawed otter is the smallest otter species. So, if you love tiny things that come in cute packages, you will be wild about these babies!
