After several years, the magic will finally return to Walt Disney World just in time for summer travel plans. This is Disney magic at its best!
Disney World Summer 2025
Disney finally listened to us and is bringing us the Disney magic that we’ve been missing out on for the past five years. Beginning May 27 through September 1, 2025, Disney will host “Cool Kid Summer” with summer limited-time activities throughout Walt Disney World.
Today, Walt Disney World shares the full exciting lineup. At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, get ready to roam, explore, and earn your adventure stripes! Buzz over to Rafiki’s Planet Watch for hands-on crafting activities all about pollinators, like bees and butterflies.
Explorers can earn a limited edition Wilderness Explorers badge. There will even be a fun sing-along with a Dino Institute Intern at Discovery Island. This will be a wild time for the young and the young at heart.
Cool Kid Summer Activities
At Animated Courtyard, located in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, enjoy fun performances from magicians, jump rope performers, and even surprise character appearances. You can also join Mickey Mouse and Disney Junior friends at a lively indoor DJ dance party.
Magic Kingdom will offer many great magical moments this summer. At the Big Top Circus, Kids can join the DJ ringmaster for a summertime dance party full of pop-up silliness with Pluto. And with stilt walkers and jugglers performing around you, you’ll feel like the ringmaster of fun.
In Tomorrowland, get ready to party with Stitch with a high-energy dance party at the Rocket Tower Plaza Stage. You can also beat the summer heat by heading into Merchant of Venus to create a craft for the upcoming Disney-Pixar film “Elio.”
EPCOT CommuniCore Hall Closing
Over at Epcot, Goofy will take over Communicore Hall to bring the ultimate game party and play space. The CommuniCore Hall will close starting May 12, 2025, for this magical transformation. CommuniCore Plaza and Mickey & Friends will remain open during this time.

As an added bit of Disney magic, guests staying at Art of Animation, Pop Century Resort, Caribbean Beach Resort, and Wilderness Lodge this summer will also see more activities for families, including posted character appearances.
