Topolino's Terrace is Closing for Refurbishment
Topolino's Terrace is closing soon for a refurbishment. Here are the details on when that refurbishment is taking place.
Topolino's Terrace
Topolino's Terrace is a table-service restaurant at Disney's Riviera Resort. It is one of my (Monica) favorite restaurants on Disney property.
In the morning, greet your favorite friends and feast on the incredible Sour Cream Waffles. At night prepare to be transported to a signature dining experience straight from the French Riviera. If you time your reservation just right, you can also see Harmonious fireworks from Epcot.
This rooftop restaurant shows off stunning views of the resort, nearby Caribbean Beach, and even other theme parks! You can see the tops of the Swan and Dolphin hotels and the peaks of Expedition Everest. I highly suggest stopping by the resort to explore a bit and enjoy a meal there!
Refurbishment
However, if you are wanting to dine here in January you will want to know that it is closing for a brief refurbishment.
From January 12 through January 25, Topolino's Terrace will be closed for refurbishment. It will reopen on January 26, 2025.
We don't have word on what this refurbishment will include, but I don't anticipate anything major happening like a dining room retheme.
Where to eat in the meantime
It's hard to give a restaurant recommendation that is of the same caliber as Topolino's Terrace. There is just nothing on property that compares! The food is fantastic, and the character outfits are so adorable.
If you are still wanting the Riviera experience, you can dine at Primo Piatto.
For a table-service restaurant, I recommend breakfast at Cape May Cafe at Beach Club. It is a buffet, but they have mostly the same characters and it is a quick Skyliner ride away. For dinner, I recommend Citricos at the Grand Floridian.

Topolino's is fantastic. I hope the refurbishment wraps up quickly and Topolino's is available for reservations soon. I agree, Cape May is a great choice for breakfast. I would also recommend Boma, but it is a bit of hike over to Animal Kingdom Lodge. Do not rule out California Grill at the Contemporary for an amazing dinner, minus the characters.
