The Disney Magic arrived today at Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point and welcomed its first Guests. When Guests arrived, they were surprised by what they saw!

The pier from the ship to the island entrance is about a half mile long!

Check out the pictures above. The pier is about half a mile long! It has been reported that it takes Guests about 11-13 minutes to walk the pier at a comfortable pace.

Once on the island, there are trams to take you to the main beach. Each tram holds about 70 Guests, and the trams will arrive and depart continuously.

What Does This Mean for You?

If you will be cruising on a sailing heading to Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, be prepared for the walk to the island. It will not be a quick or easy trip back to the ship if you forget anything.

As Edna Mode says, “Luck favors the prepared,” so be sure to double-check your bag and buffer in extra time to get to and from your destination. This new island destination will still be a magical experience for its Guests.
