If you’re looking for more fun while visiting Disney World, now is your chance! Don’t miss these updated hours so you can take everything in on your vacation.
Summer at Disney World
Visiting Disney World in the summer brings the challenge of higher temperatures along with humidity. However, teachers (like me, Susan) and families with kids in school need to visit during our breaks. If your schedule is flexible, take a look at the best times to visit Disney World in 2025 HERE.
Expect exciting new changes at Disney World this summer!
And this summer, Disney World is adding lots of new things to make your trip even better! First, at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, read HERE to see how they are celebrating The Lion King’s 30th Anniversary. Then, at Disney’s Magic Kingdom, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opens June 28!
EPCOT finally opens Communicore Plaza and Hall on June 10! With it, comes a new Encanto show, meet-and-greet area and more! To soak in all the fun, check out the updated park hours so you can adjust your plan accordingly.
Hollywood Studios
Hollywood Studios is so much fun when it’s dark! My favorite area to explore at night is Toy Story Land with all of the oversized lights. It adds to the excitement riding Slinky Dog Dash.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios has extended hours opening 30 minutes earlier and up to an hour later on select dates.
June updated hours are as follows:
- June 4, 6-7: 8:30am-10:00pm (previously 9:00am-9:00pm)
- June 5: 8:30am-5:30pm (previously opening at 9:00am)
- June 11: 9:00am-10:00pm (opening for an hour later)
- June 20-21: 9:00am-9:30pm (previously 9:00am-9:00pm)
Note: Disney’s Hollywood Studios is closing early on June 5 for a private event featuring Maroon 5!
Magic Kingdom
Nothing is more magical than seeing Cinderella Castle lit up!
When Magic Kingdom stays open past Happily Ever After fireworks, it’s a great way to avoid the crowd flooding the exits right after the nighttime show.
Don’t miss the updated Magic Kingdom hours below:
- June 4: 8:00am-11:00pm (previously 9:00am-10:00pm)
- June 5-8, 10, 12, 14, 17-18, 20, 22: 9:00am-11:00pm (staying open an hour later now)
- June 19: 8:00am-11:00pm (previously 9:00am-11:00pm)
- June 21: 8:00am-7:00pm (previously 9:00am-7:00pm)
Animal Kingdom
Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios aren’t the only parks magical at night. Pandora – The World of Avatar displays amazing displays of bioluminescence lighting. It’s not to be missed!
These updated hours may make it possible to see these lights and more:
- June 3-5, 21: 8:00am-8:00pm (previously 9:00-6:00pm)
- June 6-8, 14-20, 22: 8:00am-7:00pm (previously 9:00-6:00pm)
- June 9-13: 8:00am-6:00pm (open an hour earlier now)
EPCOT hasn’t updated their June hours.
