It is the busiest time of the year at Walt Disney World Resort. One option for Guests is purchasing Genie+ to skip the line, but one option is now sold out.
Genie+
Genie+ is a paid feature that offers convenience and flexibility to help you save time in line. Here is the shortened version: for $15+ per person per day at Disney World and $20+ per person per day at Disneyland, choose the next available time to arrive at a variety of attractions and experiences using the Lightning Lane entrance.
Please note that the price of Genie+ can vary depending on the crowd levels expected at Disney.
You can choose to use the standby line instead of purchasing Genie+. In doing so, Disney is not forcing you to pay for this feature. You can make one selection at a time all throughout the day. 40+ attractions are included at Walt Disney World and 15+ attractions are available at Disneyland.

Crowds at Disney World
Right now, is one of them most popular times to visit. Just taking a quick glance at the wait times, you will notice the parks are CROWDED. Even at 9:00 am, Flight of Passage is over a 200 minute wait! Be sure to pack your patience this week!

Genie+ SOLD OUT
This morning, December 30, the Multiple Parks option on Genie+ sold out first. At the time of this writing, this is the only option that has sold out, so Guests are still able to purchase Genie+ for individual parks.
Genie+ is still at a record high, but it is not slowing Guests down with purchasing it.
What Does This Mean for YOU?
Well, Disney doesn’t guarantee that you can do all the rides in the park with Genie+. They actually changed their wording of Genie+ last year, stating that you should expect to get two or three rides or experiences a day while using Genie+. You can read more about that HERE.
ON AVERAGE, GUESTS CAN ENTER 2 TO 3 ATTRACTIONS OR EXPERIENCES PER DAY USING THE LIGHTNING LANE ENTRANCE IF THE FIRST SELECTION IS MADE EARLY IN THE DAY.

Why can't they just not over sell the parks? What good does it do to let people in the park if they can't experience any of the attractions? It is a money grab
