Gideon’s Bakehouse
One of Disney World’s most popular places to grab a sweet treat is none other than Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs. It serves up delectable offerings including uniquely delicious cookies, cake slices, and cold brew. You can read all about it right here.
One thing about Gideon’s is that it is so popular that if you don’t catch it at just the right time, you will see a line that spills out into the streets. Sometimes the wait moves to a virtual queue, which is nice because you can receive a call back and enjoy the rest of Disney Springs. Gideon’s Spookhouse!
Gideon’s Bakehouse announced that for the month of October, it shall be known as Gideon’s Spookhouse! Not only is Gideon’s Bakehouse celebrating Halloween, but it is also celebrating its BIRTHDAY this month! That means there are special treats and merch every weekend.

Special Treat, Special Policy
This weekend, Gideon’s Bakehouse is offering another never-before-seen delight! Even better, you can grab this one at BOTH the Disney Springs and the original locations.
According to Gideon’s owner Steve Lewis, the special treats dreamed up for the bakehouse take extra time and care to craft. Up to 8 hours of work can go into treats that sit on the shelf for a single hour! This is why they are extra special and extra limited.
The special treat this week is The Chocolate Mousse Cookie Butter Cookie Delight (aka the “Entremet”). This lovely hand-forged Chocolate Mouse is smooth and not overly sweet. That extra sweetness comes from a base of the Cookie Butter Butterscotch Cookie, topped with Chocolate Glaze and accented with crushed Biscoff!
You can only get this special dessert this weekend. Moreover, it is important to know that while typically these treats may be available in limited quantities of 2 per person, there may be an even tighter restriction on the Chocolate Mousse Cookie Butter Delight!
If the treat begins to sell out too swiftly, either location might move to a one-per-customer limit. So, be prepared for that possibility if you head to either location to try to enjoy one of these decadent delights.

Gideon’s is serving this treat cold so that it doesn’t fall apart. But, it is best to wait to eat it until the mousse begins to soften.
