The New Pixar Movie’s Release Date Will Be Delayed

Calling all movie fans! Another Disney movie’s release date has been delayed. Here are the details for when you can expect to see anything new from Disney/Pixar.

Movie Release Delays

Several film studios have begun announcing delays for big titles. While the SAG-AFTRA strike has not been officially cited as a reason behind the delays, it could very easily be a contributing factor.

Earlier today, we learned that the live-action Snow White would receive a new release date. You can read about it and see a sneak peek inside the film HERE. But, the delays don’t stop there.

Pixar Release Date

Now, Pixar/Disney has announced a delay. The upcoming film Elio is also receiving a new release date.

For those unfamiliar with it, Elio tells the story of an 11-year-old boy who has trouble finding where he fits in. One day, he finds himself inadvertently beamed up to the Communiverse, an interplanetary organization with representatives from galaxies far and wide. There he is mistakenly identified as Earth’s ambassador to the rest of the universe! You can see a trailer for it right HERE.

Elio was originally set to hit theatres on March 1, 2024. However, we will now have to wait for over a year beyond that release date to see it. Its new release date is June 13, 2025!

What About Inside Out 2

Pixar’s big sequel Inside Out 2 is currently set to release on June 14, 2024. However, that does not mean that it won’t also change. We will let you know if it does. It will also be interesting to see who ultimately ended up cast in the film since several actors did not sign on.
