New Attractions in Orlando
When people think of Orlando, they think of theme parks. Lately, many of the theme parks have been keeping things interesting for both new and returning visitors by adding new attractions to their lineup of offerings.
Guests love new attractions and show up in droves for them as evidenced by the high levels of demand for newer offerings like VelociCoaster in Universal Orlando Islands of Adventure and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in Walt Disney World.
Recently, Universal even hinted at a new TrollerCoaster coming to its parks. And now, another park has a cool new coaster to add to the mix!
Penguin Trek Rollercoaster
Orlando’s newest immersive coaster is going to feature penguins, the most dapper of birds! Penguin Trek promises to be a coaster the whole family can enjoy.
The coaster will send riders racing off in snowmobile-style ride vehicles on an adventure through Antarctica. This launch coaster will carry passengers through the ice across 3,000 feet of track at speeds of up to 43 miles per hour!
You will navigate twists and turns and narrowly escape the crumbling hazards of an icy cavern during the adventure. If you are successful in your venture, you will make the ultimate discovery: a real penguin habitat!
Even better, the coaster features not one, but TWO launches. So, you can expect an extra burst of speed along the way to keep your snowmobile gliding across the ice.
Riders must be 42” tall to enjoy the attraction. Interestingly, in addition to a minimum height requirement, there is also a MAXIMUM height requirement for this one. Guests can be no more than 77″ tall to ride safely.
When Can You Ride
You can enjoy this attraction soon! It is coming to SeaWorld Orlando in the spring of 2024!
