Changes in Character Encounters
When Disney World reopened in 2020, characters were scarce. And the ones who were available were either socially distanced or in a cavalcade. There was no opportunity to meet them without some kind of barrier.
However, since that time, most characters have returned to a typical meet and greet. There are even new characters meeting now like Mirabel at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. There are a few characters that meet on lawns at Disney’s Hollywood Studios though.
Meet and Greet Returns
For the past few years, Pooh has had a meet and greet at Disney’s Magic Kingdom, but not EPCOT. Pooh has been frolicking on the EPCOT lawn near the Imagination Pavilion.
Pooh is meeting guests at Christopher Robin’s room located at EPCOT’s United Kingdom Pavilion!
Today, that has all changed and for the better! Pooh has once again returned to greeting guests at EPCOT”s United Kingdom pavilion in Christopher Robin’s room! He hasn’t been here since the park shut down in 2020. I (Susan) was thrilled to meet him here in December 2019. It’s such an immersive experience.
Details
As of now, Pooh’s times run from 9:00am until 3:40pm. Although he will take short breaks, stay in line so you can meet him on his next set!

To find Christopher Robin’s room to to the United Kingdom courtyard toward the back of the pavilion. As you enter the pavilion, you’ll see a metal covering at the end of the building on your right. This is the entrance of his meet area. You will exit inside the UK shop.
