There are so many great dining locations throughout the Disney Parks. You will definitely have ample choices during your next visit to Walt Disney World. Now, Disney is giving us one more delicious option to enjoy as well.

The Disney Parks are in a constant state of transformation and at times, things do not go exactly as planned. Back in July 2022, the popular ESPN Club, along Disney’s Boardwalk, was being demolished to make room for The Cake Bake Shop.

Many guests were sad by this closure but were optimistic about a new dining location.

Disney describes this new dining location: “Waterside strolls will be extra special with amazing desserts and sweets at The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers. You can check out Jaelyn’s full review from The Cake Bake Shop in Carmel, Indiana HERE.

When first announced, Disney shared an opening timeline of 2023 for The Cake Bake Shop. Today, we noticed a new change to the Walt Disney World website. The new page now says “Opening Soon” and the mention of opening this year is now removed.
