Rainy Disney Days

Since Walt Disney World is in Central Florida, rain can happen at any time. It might be a brief sprinkle or a thorough drenching. Fortunately, much of the time its gone almost as quickly as it begins. From time to time there is rain that lingers, and there might even be a storm.

Prepare with ponchos or rain gear, stroller covers, and a flexible plan during the wetter seasons. This is especially true during the summer and hurricane season.

We were at Disney during Ian lay Sept. Disney did an amazing job. I always felt incredibly safe. Even being stuck at the resort wasn't bad. If you're there, don't panic! We enjoyed all the days we were there before and after the storm. During the storm was also enjoyable, because we felt safe and you're still at Disney! Which is better than elsewhere.
