Extended Evening Hours
One perk of staying at a Walt Disney World Deluxe Resort is the option to attend Extended Theme Park Hours. On select nights, guests with a valid hotel reservation at a Disney World deluxe participating resort can stay in the park for two extra hours to experience select attractions.
Many see this offering as enough of an incentive to book a stay at a deluxe resort, whether directly through Disney or through the process of renting DVC points. In order to participate in these extended hours, guests must be booked to stay at a deluxe resort.
This offering includes several headliner attractions at both the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and now Disney’s Hollywood Studios. While not all attractions are included as part of this offering, most of the major attractions are included.
New Change to Extended Evening Hours
Typically, Epcot hosts Extended Evening Hours on Monday nights and Magic Kingdom hosts the perk on Wednesday nights. There is now a schedule change for September and October at the Magic Kingdom. Read more about this change HERE.
A park typically only offers one night of Extended Evening Hours a week. This has been the schedule since the debut of Extended Evening Hours in 2021.
Now, EPCOT offers two nights of Extended Evening Hours in the same week. When looking ahead to the end of October, we see that EPCOT offers Extended Evening Hours on Monday, October 30, 2023, as normal.
What is interesting is that the same week, EPCOT also offers Extended Evening Hours on Thursday, November 2, 2023. For both nights, Deluxe Resort guests can enjoy EPCOT with limited crowds from 9:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. on both nights.
EPCOT offers 2 nights of Extended Evening Hours during the same week.
This is a very interesting change and can be a great benefit for select guests just in time for the 100 Years of Wonder offerings at EPCOT.
