Disneyland is preparing for a big Princess and the Frog expansion. Back in September 2022, a brand new shopping location, Eudora’s Chic Boutique Featuring Tiana’s Gourmet Secrets, welcomed guests. Check out the great assortment of merchandise available at this location HERE.
If you have been following along, you know by now that Disney’s Splash Mountain is currently undergoing a retheme and will be made into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Over in Disneyland, Tiana is also receiving her very own restaurant, Tiana’s Palace Restaurant. It will be located in New Orleans Square and will entail a reimagining of one of the current spaces of the French Market Restaurant.
A Look Inside
Below the lit marquee that reads “Tiana’s Palace” hanging above a metallic gold balcony, is an emerald green wrought iron railing and awnings dyed in yellow and green, reminiscent of Tiana’s beautiful formal ball gown. You will be surrounded by the colors of Mardi Gras as you sit at yellow tabletops, on warm vanilla-colored chairs with green seats, in the shade of yellow and green umbrellas.
At Tiana’s Palace, you can enjoy new menu items that represent Tiana’s story and honor the flavors and flair of New Orleans, with an effort to source some ingredients directly from the state of Louisiana when possible.
Opening Date
Disney announced Tiana’s Palace Restaurant will be opening to guests on September 7, 2023. Mobile ordering will be available to guests once the restaurant opens and a full menu will be revealed soon!

The restaurant is sure to be a popular one once it opens and guests will be able to see so many fun details and nods to “The Princess and the Frog”.

Coming from Louisiana, I only hope the place is also authentic in our cooking. I've seen so many "cajun" recipe meals to not be truly cooked as we do. It's good they are using true Louisiana ingredients when able.
