100 Years of Wonder
Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebration has officially come to an end. We are slowly beginning to see many of the things marking the 50th anniversary begin to fade away. Just today, we noticed something different about Cinderella Castle.
Disney’s 100 Years of Wonder will be the largest cross-company global celebration in the 100-year history of The Walt Disney Company. Disney Parks around the world will celebrate the 100th anniversary, with the heart of the celebration at Disneyland Resort.
Disney World celebrations
Celebrations at both parks include commemorative popcorn buckets. We are hoping the popcorn bucket seen at Disneyland will be making its way over to Disney World soon. For now, guests can grab this one (pictured above) that is available now.
Special medallions and pennies recognizing the 100th anniversary are also available now. You can find machines all over Walt Disney World in the parks and resorts.
Refillable Mugs
The resort refillable mug is a thermally insulated mug made of either plastic or metal that is equipped with an RFID chip. This “RapidFill” technology allows the mugs to be activated and used at any RapidFill station at any Disney resort for the length of your stay.

New 100th Anniversary themed refillable mugs are available all over Walt Disney World resorts at dining locations and via mobile ordering.
We spotted brand new refillable mugs with an all new 100th anniversary theme at Disney World resorts. They are available now and cost $21.99. The new 100th anniversary refillable mugs are also available via Mobile Ordering for the same price.
The refillable mugs feature the platinum theme for Disney’s 100 Years of Wonder. Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse are seen in their platinum outfits on the front with Daisy Duck, Donald Duck, Pluto and even Tinker Bell on the other side.
