The Christmas season is upon us! See Disney World characters in their adorable Christmas outfits!
Christmas at Disney World
There are so many fantastic ways to celebrate Christmas in Walt Disney World! From Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party to Resort hopping to see the delicious gingerbread creations, there is no shortage of Christmas magic in Disney World.
All four of Walt Disney World’s Theme Parks get in on the holiday fun. At Magic Kingdom, you’ll definitely want to check out Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, and Epcot hosts the International Festival of the Holidays. Hollywood Studios is all decked out in festival Hollywood glamour, and Animal Kingdom is a beautiful Park worth checking out at Christmas.
Let’s take a look at what the characters over at Animal Kingdom are wearing this year for the Christmas season.
Animal Kingdom Characters
Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, and Chip and Dale are out and about in Dinoland in their festive costumes. Donald has a bright green jacket and sash along with a yellow hat.
Daisy has a very festive green and red outfit and adorable dinosaur glasses.
Chip is in his purple dinosaur costume with antler ears while Dale has a green dinosaur costume and Christmas lights atop his head.
Heading over to Adventure Outpost, you can find Mickey and Minnie in their adventurous holiday outfits! They are still very much African safari with some subtle red and green touches. Don’t they look so cute together?
These characters will remain in their holiday outfits throughout the holiday season!
Other Entertainment
As mentioned in another post today, Merry Menagerie is back for the holidays at Animal Kingdom! Truly one of the BEST parts of the holidays at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is the Merry Menagerie. Guests can interact with “life-sized artisan-sculpted puppets” of animals such as reindeer, foxes, polar bears, penguins, and more.
If there is no other reason to visit Disney’s Animal Kingdom for the holidays, please visit the park for the Merry Menagerie. They are just that magical. The puppeteers seem to blend in with these amazing puppets. The puppeteer costumes help to deflect from their appearance and direct your sole attention to those of the adorable puppets.
Additionally, the many holiday-themed flotillas are back as well! Find Santa, Mickey, Pluto, Island Drummers, Scrooge McDuck, and more floating along the Discovery River. You can find the most up to date times in Character Locator, so be sure to check there for your dates!
