It is being reported that current Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground guests are receiving a letter about needing to leave The Fort. This is what the letter states:

Dear Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground Guests,

We’re continuing to monitor Tropical Storm Nicole and wanted to give you an update on our operations. Based on the latest forecast, we expect the most severe weather to impact our area overnight tomorrow, Nov 9. into the morning of Thursday, Nov. 10.

Guests that are staying in a campsite (RV or tent site) will need to leave The Fort by 3 p.m. on November 9th. Guests staying in a cabin do not have to leave.

For the safety of our Guests and Cast Members, Guests staying at the campsites, either in a tent or RV, will be required to depart the Resort by 3 p.m. tomorrow Nov 9. For assistance in booking alternative accommodations for tomorrow night at another Disney Resort hotel, please call 407-939-7427. Guests may choose to temporarily park their RVs at their new Disney Resort hotel, or they may leave their belongings at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground until their return to the campsites. Should you choose to end your vacation stay, please visit the front desk and check out by 3 p.m. tomorrow, Nov. 9.

We will welcome guests back to the campsites as soon as possible. We will be updating DisneyWorld.com/Weather throughout the week and we encourage you to check there for the most up-to-date information.

Guests who are currently staying in the cabins at the campground do not have to leave. With this storm guests are allowed to leave their RVs at the campsites, where as with Hurricane Ian everyone and their belongings had to evacuate.

We will continue to share updates as this storm progresses. Be sure to check out this guide to Hurricane preparations at Disney Parks. We pray for all those impacted by this Subtropical Storm.
