Disney’s TRON Lightcycle Run
Tron Lightcycle Power Run roller coaster was first introduced to guests at Shanghai Disneyland Resorts. In this thrilling attraction, riders hop aboard motorcycle style ride vehicles as they speed through the dark ride. It’s even more exciting because it is one of the fastest indoor coasters in the history of Disney’s parks.
The attraction is based on Disney’s 1982 film TRON. The movie has the distinction of being the first film to combine live-action sequences with computer-generated and animated elements.
Getting There
Each day seems to point to another sign of the attraction opening. See the latest progress for Disney’s TRON in this post HERE. We can really see a lot of progress being made right now. A large walkway leading up to the attraction is now complete and has been paved. Greenery has also been a new addition.
We can even see some tracks being laid, which is pretty exciting. I (Maggie) may even be more excited about the train returning than the opening of Disney’s TRON! We know that is also preparing to return. Check out the latest update HERE.
Opening Cast Member Team
Today, the Walt Disney World Ambassadors have shared exciting news! They shared on their social media accounts a video of them surprising Cast Members by welcoming them as new recruits for TRON Lightcycle / Run.
TRON Lightcycle / Run has welcomed new Cast Member recruits!
Their post says: “//Attention Users: We bring some exciting news from The Grid … Team Blue has welcomed its newest recruits! We can’t wait to open TRON Lightcycle / Run with you in spring 2023.”
We are so excited to see this exciting step in the opening of TRON! We are only a few months away.
