If you need to make a change or cancellation to your resort reservation in the next few days, Disney has provided an important update on their policy due to Hurricane Ian.
Hurricane Ian Updates
We are being provided many updates today about the current weather conditions in the Central Florida area. Hurricane Ian has forced many Florida counties into a Tropical Cyclone Watch/Warning and we are seeing the hurricane move closer to the Florida coastline.
Just this morning, Disney sent out a letter to guests staying at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Lodge to contact them about relocation. You can read all of those details HERE. We are beginning to see more updates and modifications to Disney World’s operations as the storm becomes more extreme.
In fact, we just learned of Disney’s first major update to their operations! Donna gave us a great breakdown about the parks, entertainment, and hotels that are set to close in preparation for Hurricane Ian. Read about it HERE!
