Star Wars Character Meet and Greets
This week, we were overjoyed to announce that traditional character meet and greets will return to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Check out the full list of characters returning and set your calendars for their official return HERE.
Over at Disneyland, we shared back in May that many characters from The Mandalorian season would greet guests. While many Star Wars fans lamented that this would not include Walt Disney World, we also wondered how our favorite macaroon snacking, Grogu, could greet guests.
We now have a first look at how we may soon interact with Grogu in the Disney Parks. Be prepared for cuteness overload.
Grogu Interaction
Disney is truly a magical place and even with that amazing Disney magic, it was still perplexing how the adorable, but petite-sized Grogu may greet guests in the Disney Parks.
In May, many Star Wars fans attended the Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, CA. With the last Star Wars Celebration held in 2019, there were many new characters and storylines to explore throughout this year’s celebration.
As Disney+ began to stream in 2019, we were introduced to new and some familiar characters in The Mandalorian series. Guests visiting the Star Wars Celebration enjoyed The Mandalorian Experience. Guests enjoyed many props from the show in this experience, but the true star was Grogu.
Guests visiting the Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, CA could enjoy The Mandalorian Experience and interact with Grogu.
Instagram user, DC and Michele share their interaction with Grogu. Grogu can be seen in the ship and he is looking around at guests and even waving.

Disney has not shared a date as to when Grogu will make his appearance at Disneyland, nor if he will travel to Walt Disney World as well. This may be how guests interact with Grogu once he arrives.
