We announced yesterday that 2023 Disney Vacation packages are available to book. Now, it’s time to start planning those vacations. Disney World planning is kind of like a marathon so a lot of advanced planning is necessary.

While we do not have to worry about making dining reservations 180 days out or making FastPass selections 60 days out, it is still good to get your dates in order, purchase your package, and make those park passes! Let’s take a look at how much more it will cost next year.

Take a look at 2022 Disney’s All-Star movies rate calendar above to see nightly cost (excluding tax) above. Prices this June and July range from $166 to $207 nightly for a standard room. The spike in late June/early July is due to the insanely busy July 4th weekend.

Now, let’s take a peek at 2023 rates at All-Star Movies. June and July prices next year range from $172-$214. That doesn’t sound like a major change, right? Maybe not..

To do a fair comparison, I (Susan) calculated the average July nightly cost (excluding tax). For July 2022, the average nightly cost is $177.97. However, in July 2023, the nightly cost climbs to $183.23. Using these figures, it will cost you $36.82 (plus tax) more for 7 nights next year. (These are approximate numbers and your increased price varies based on the dates you choose.)

Again, I (Susan) calculated the average July nightly cost (excluding tax). For July 2022, the average nightly cost is $269.26. However, in July 2023, the nightly cost climbs to $305.32. Using these figures, it will cost you about $252.42 (plus tax) more for 7 nights next year.

Riviera Resort

Last, let’s move on to Disney’s Deluxe category and see how much Disney’s Riviera deluxe suite will cost each year. In June and July this year, prices (excluding tax) range from $642-$674.

For July 2022, the average nightly cost is $634.35. However, in July 2023, the nightly cost soars to $655.77. It will cost you approximately $149.94 (plus tax) more for 7 nights next year. I noticed something unique to Riviera when looking at the numbers. It costs less to stay here during the weekend than during the week.

Final Thoughts

While I realize these projections aren’t perfect, I hope they give you an idea of price increases coming. The numbers are slightly skewed due to the July 4th weekend having more expensive nights in 2022 than 2023. Also, we’ll share 2023 Disney vacation special offers as soon as they’re released.

What do you think of these price increases in addition to all the other recent Disney changes? Will they affect your vacation plans?
