It’s great to see the parks and resorts at Disney World return to normal. Now, another perk is returning and we are here for it.

Return to Normal

When the parks reopened in July 2020, it felt like they were operating on bare necessities only. Not every attraction, hotel, and restaurant reopened at full capacity. No, it has been a long process to get everything back to normal operations.

It finally feels like we are pushing in that final 5% until we reach 100% normalcy again. With no masks, social distancing, or other precautions, Disney is in the final stages of bringing everything back fully.

There are still a few restaurants and shows we are waiting on – cough 1900 Park Faire and Fantasmic – but in the meantime we have more perks returning!

Tram Service

The trams are a great perk for those Guests who take their own car to the parks. Once you park, Disney Cast Members pick you up and drop you off towards the entrance of the park. Then, they can also take you back when you are ready to leave. It is so great to have these since it can be a long walk to and from your car!

Magic Kingdom trams returned last year with transportation to and from the Transportation and Ticket Center. Disney has stated they will return to all parks soon, and we have news for Animal Kingdom Guests.

Tram service will return to Disney’s Animal Kingdom on May 27, 2022. These are free to use, and they sure do save your feet! Approximately 200 passengers can ride the trams at one time, and while there is no set schedule they do run frequently throughout the day.

Are you thankful tram service is returning to more parks at Disney World? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below and on Facebook.
