Many Guests visiting the Disney Parks have their favorite dining locations and their favoirte menu items. At times, Disney will add additional food options to celebrate holidays, seasons, and even the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World. At times these food options may be extraordinary like the 50th Celebration Caramel Cupcake, or they might be a big flop like the Slue Foot Sue fish sandwich
You can check out a full listing of all of these new snacks and treats HERE. These snacks and treats debuted in the Magic Kingdom on January 10th. Additionally, they replaced many of the original 50th anniversary snacks and treats that debuted on October 1st.
The newest dish that we tried in the Magic Kingdom was a definite win in our books.
Roasted Street Corn Flatbread
In Fantasyland, we were delighted to try the newest item on the menu at Pinocchio Village Haus. This dining location is one of my (Donna) favorites. I love the ease of mobile ordering while also enjoyed a bit of air conditioning. Enjoy the best seat in the haus as you sit by the windows overlooking “it’s a small world.”
On this visit, my teenage son and I greatly enjoyed waving at guests that prepared to set sail on the “happiest cruise that ever set sail.” This is simply a great atmosphere, but the food previoulsy was nothing noteworthy. That is until now.
The Roasted Street Corn Flatbread is a perfect entree to enjoy this spirng and summer. This flatbread is served with roasted corn and peppers and two different cheeses. I (Donna) am a BIG fan of street corn, and I had high hopes for this dish. Both the peppers and street corn were delicious. This entire flatbread was drizzled with a flavorful cilantro mayonnaise.
At $11.99, this dish was comparable to the other menu options but far exceeded other menu options in taste. This dish was a definite win in our book. It was a refreshing take on the classic flatbread entrees that are available at Pinocchio Village Haus. You can check out other 50th Anniversary dishes at Pinocchio Village Haus HERE.
