Package Delivery
Before the closing of the closing of the Disney Parks, Guests could shop to their hearts’ contents and simply have their purchases held either at the front of the Park or delivered to their Disney Resort.
This was a great service that allowed Guests to truly enjoy the Parks without the burden of carrying around multiple bags and purchases. My (Donna) husband thought this was a clever way for Disney to encourage additional purchases, but that is a completely different subject altogether.
With the reopening of the Walt Disney World Parks, the Package Delivery service is no longer offered. Many Guests were happy to have larger items shipped directly to their homes. You can check out more about this Home Delivery option HERE.
In December 2020, Guests could have merchandise held at the front of the Park during busy holiday travel times. We also saw a return of the package delivery during the International Festival of the Arts in 2021.
Since the reopening of the Parks, package delivery has been discontinued, until now.
Return of Resort Package Delivery
We love to see our beloved Disney Parks return to “normal.” From Mickey hugs to the complete relaxation of all mask mandates, the Disney Parks are truly magical once again.
Resort Package Delivery will soon be available to Guests staying at Disneyland Resorts.
Now Disneyland is paving the way with the return of Resort Package delivery. This summer, guests staying at one of the Disneyland Resorts in California can have their packages delivered to their Resort.
All Guests need to do is let the clerk know which Disney Resort to deliver their packages to. At the end of the day, pick up your packages in your Resort without having to carry them around all day.
This is a great service that we hope will soon return to Walt Disney World as well. At first, this service was discontinued due to COVID concerns, but now that health and safety protocols have relaxed, we hope this service may soon return to Walt Disney World as well.
