Disney World is bringing back package pickup for a limited time!

Have a lot of shopping to do in the parks? Disney World is bringing back package pickup for a limited time. See when and where you can grab your park merchandise below. Will you utilize this service?

Package Pickup Suspended

Disney suspended their package pickup services upon reopening. This meant Guests could not have their purchased merchandise sent to the front of the park or back to their resort. It can really be inconvenient carrying bags around all day!

Fortunately, home delivery is still an option during this time. If you want to utilize this service, I recommend doing the bulk of your shopping in one store so you can have everything sent home in a more economical fashion.

Package Pickup Temporarily Offered!

With the busy holiday season upon us, Disney World is trying to make our park days go a bit smoother. For a limited time, you can have any merchandise you purchase in the park sent to the front of the park! Then, on your way out you can grab it and head to wherever you are going. This will surely lighten your load!

Between December 20 and January 2, simply ask the Cast Member who is helping you to send it to the front of the park. You can pick up your packages from the following places before the end of the day:

Chamber of Commerce at Magic Kingdom

Gateway Gifts and World Traveler at EPCOT

Park arrival at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Oscar’s Super Service at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

What about resort pick up?

At this time, Guests cannot have merchandise sent back to the resort they are staying at. I personally hope this returns soon because this is even easier than park pick up!

It’s also unclear why exactly park pickup is temporary. This could be a testing phase to see if they would like to permanently bring this service back. It could also be a way to entice Guests to spend more in the parks knowing they don’t have to carry their bags around all day.
