Stitch Crashes Disney
By now, you’ve probably seen the Stitch Crashes Disney Collection. In 2021, Disney launched a new Stitch monthly series inspired by Disney’s Lilo and Stitch film.
Each collection features a new pin, plush and Magic Band depicting a mashup between Stitch and a beloved Disney film. It is as if Stitch crashed right into a scene from the movie!
Supply Chain Issues
Like so many other merchandise lines, this one experienced delays. In fact, 2021 ended without the last 3 installments of the series. It seems like this set has taken forever to wrap up. In fact, Disney released a new 2022 Mickey Mouse Main Street Attraction collection before wrapping up Stitch.
On March 14, 2022, the Mickey Mouse Main attraction debuted the first series at Disney Springs. Since then, Disney released items in this set throughout Disney World. Recently, I (Susan) spotted the backpack, pin, and ears at the Contemporary as well as Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Then, just a few weeks ago the first set in this series finally debuted on shopDisney.
Final Set
It’s about to be a wrap on the Stitch Crashes Disney collections. The last set features pink flowers, green foliage, and blue water representing Mulan. Not only that, but the purple cricket from Disney’s animated Mulan movie, Cri-Kee, sits atop Stitches head.
I guess that’s better than the Lady and the Tramp meatballs on his head.
Date
Are you still collecting the Stitch sets? If so, be on the lookout for the Mulan Stitch Crashes Disney set on shopDisney beginning on April 29 at 7:00am PST and 10:00am EST.
Disney’s also shared that this collection will be available inside Disney Parks on this same date. The good news is there are several sets still available inside Disney theme parks, so hopefully this one won’t sell out too quickly.
