Guardians Coaster
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is the newest attraction at EPCOT. With an official opening date of May 27, 2022, there is so much information regarding this new attraction.
This is truly an awesome experience from the immersive queue, wonderfully themed Cast Member costumes, attraction touch points, and you can even check out the villain of this new attraction HERE.
Many young Guests will also enjoy this exhilarating attraction. Check out the height restrictions for this attraction HERE. Music is HUGE in the storyline for Guardians of the Galaxy. I (Susan) found the song list a bit confusing compared to the Guardians of the Galaxy movies. Take a look at the song list HERE and let us know what you think.
Previews
As Cast Member previews are well underway, we are beginning to hear wonderful reviews of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Previews will soon begin for Disney Vacation Club members, Annual Passholders, and a special ticketed event for D23 members.
This all leads up to the opening of this attraction to all Guests on May 27, 2022.
Designing Guardians of the Galaxy
Disney has set the bar high for Guardians of the Galaxy. The design allows the building to show off its unique character.
We want to ensure that the people of Xandar have a suitable beacon for the message of peace and cooperation that they brought to our park.

Not only that, but Disney is adding elements to ensure this new attraction fits in with all of the EPCOT changes, like Spaceship Earth’s lighting.
New Lighting
The lighting design reinforces the space and scale on the exterior architecture, finishes and color palette. Disney created very specific lighting. It’s designed to highlight the many layers of the exterior. Not only that, you’ll see amazing programming at night. Check out more details in the Disney Parks video below:
