Disney has made several exciting announcements about everything coming to Disneyland very soon! Which of these are you most excited for?
New magic to the Disneyland Hotel DVC Tower
Disney’s Imagineers are hard at work bringing storytelling to life at the newest resort property. These elements are all inspired by characters and stories from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ classic films.
The Disneyland Hotel DVC tower will have an amazing pool and recreation area. There will be a variety of room types and the ability to explore the magic just steps away at the Disneyland Resort!
Disney also shared that colors and design would play an important parti in the hotel’s storytelling.
Downtown Disney
Downtown Disney District is evolving! Work will begin as Disney reimagines Downtown Disney District in January 2022.
This project will take multiple years to complete and will include an even bigger collection of shopping, dining and entertainment experiences.
A large grassy area will be developed for Guests to enjoy. It will also be home to various events Disney plans to host.
Entertainment Returns!
There were also three really exciting entertainment announcements for Disneyland Resort!
Fantasmic! will be returning to Disneyland Park! Fantasmic! is a fan favorite live nighttime show where Disney heroes and villains battle it out! This show features many Disney favorites from classics such as Aladdin, The Lion King, Tangled, and Pirates of the Caribbean!
World of Color, in Disney California Adventure Park, will be making its return next year! This nighttime spectacular uses water jets, lasers, and perfectly timed pyrotechnics to bring Disney and Pixar stories to life.
And, big parade news! The Main Street Electrical Parade will return to Disneyland Resort, just in time to celebrate its 50th anniversary.
This nighttime parade features floats, live performers, and over 600,000 lights, lighting up in perfect harmony with its catchy soundtrack. I can just hear the song now, and I already know it will be stuck in my head the rest of the day!
