Running from November 26 to December 30, Epcot is bringing back the Festival of the Holidays this year! Living with the Land will receive its holiday overlay once again, and the World Showcase storytellers will once again share stories from their respective countries along with the Canadian Holiday Voyageurs and their musical memories across the Great White North and Chinese Lion Dances.

There is also so much food and fun to be had with the holiday kitchens, cookie stroll, and the Olaf scavenger hunt! “JOYFUL! A Celebration of the Season” returns to the Showcase Plaza Stage.

And from November 26 – December 24, Santa Claus pays a visit to The American Adventure, where you can step right up and let him know your fondest wish for Christmas.

Disney’s Candlelight Processional is a time-honored tradition of the retelling of the Nativity Story. Originally beginning at Disneyland in the 1950s, the processional has expanded to include Epcot. You can read more about its rich history HERE.

Last year, the Candlelight Processional did not take place due to the phased reopening of Disney World theme parks. We have been on pins and needles waiting to hear more about what will take place this year.

Disney officially announced its return recently, and the first list followed shortly after. Today we have the full list of narrators.

Dining Packages

Epcot will also offer dining packages which allow you to enjoy a meal at your favorite Epcot restaurant (okay maybe only four) and get reserved seating for one of the three performances that day.

Options are not as plentiful as previous years, but we are still so excited for the return of this special performance. Be sure to grab a dining package to reduce the amount of time you spend waiting for the performance!

I love Andy Garcia and I will be home by the time he is there. So very sad

Missing some of our favorite narrators... NPH, Gary Sinese.... hope to hear Jodi Benson, though. Maybe next year will bring back the favorites. Hopefully they always stay with celebrities... that's helps bring people in. I know I'd never come for some pastor I'd never heard of.

I agree. I was hoping to see John Stamos or Gary Sinise this year as we saw NPH last time. I'm wondering if they did this with the limited dining package options in order to tone it down a bit.

Wish Disney would invite pastors from different churches to narrate the nativity story instead of "Hollywood has beens or Hollywood period. We weren't planning on attending but so far I can only get CR reservations as a CP for family of 8 coming for Christmas but I doubt we do the CP.
