Genie+ Discount

Are you among the lucky few who can score a coveted discount on Genie+? Well, as international travel returns, Disney has enticed some guests with a deep discount on Genie+! Guests traveling from the United Kingdom to Disney World can purchase Genie+ at a discounted rate.

UK guests have the option to purchase a Magic Ticket, that is good for 14 days for the price of 7! I’m not a mathematician but that sounds like about half price! Those same guests have the option to add Genie+ to their 14 day ticket for a price of £6.99 per day! Using today’s conversion rate, that comes to around $9.50, or over 30% off the rate of $15 per day!

Basically, the offer saves UK guests around $75 per person!

Still, adding Genie+ to a 14 day ticket would add $133.98 per person. If I traveled from that far away, I’d want to do it all and definitely would take them up on that offer!

More Discounts?

Does this mean we will see more discounts? So far, the usual groups to receive discounts (passholders, Florida Residents and Disney Vacation Club members) have not had any offers of discounts on Genie+.

Obviously we don’t move to Florida, buy annual passes or buy DVC in order to get discounts, but it’s a nice way of saying thank you to Disney’s most loyal guests and the local community!

Previously, on the debut date, D23 Gold members could get Genie+ for free to try it out! D23 has a lot of great programs, like the Remy preview! Check out more about Genie+ here.

Getting more and more disappointed in Disney. After all our years of going with 2 of us, then 4 of us, then add in the grandchildren and we have had many memorable trips. Seems Disney is bound and determined to take their faithful base and overcharge for everything. Also, with only 60 days to reserve dining, we can't even get our favorite restaurants. Have lost pretty much all the perks. We now have to pay for rides after we have paid for park tickets and parking? When are they bringing back the trams? When are they bringing back parades, character meets, shows, and customer service? Disney is getting very greedy.

What bs. When is everyone else going to get a discount??

That's nice, but what about the loyal US visitors (DVC, AP)? They keep taking away the perks for those visitors.

I come from the UK and can safely say that 14 days for the price of 7 is half price. No math required. Yes the G+ discount looks good. But who is buying it for 14 days ?

Not surprised that Chepak is again screwing over the loyal DVC members (that subsidized Disney via maintainance point payments during the pandemic). His focus is on the next sucker that will pay extreme prices to maximize his bonus.

Glad to see that there is a reduced price offer, though do not understand why it favors UK over US residents (I suspect Chepak already got all our $$$). That, or the fact that the UK is not as gullible and will not pay the absurd pricing.
