Restaurant News
It has been a day filled with restaurant news so far! As Walt Disney World has slowly begun its phased reopening, we are beginning to see more and more restaurant locations reopening, buffets returning and even new restaurants coming soon!
Over at Hollywood Studios, Dockside Diner is reopening soon with a new menu. Guests of all ages are sure to be delighted with the news that breakfast is finally returning to Cinderella’s Royal Table in the Magic Kingdom.
There is also exciting restaurant news from Disney’s Contemporary Resort and let’s not forget about Space 220 opening over at EPCOT. You can read more about Space 220’s official opening in this post HERE.
Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery
Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery is a quick service location located in Africa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Fun fact: “Kusafiri” means “to journey” in Swahili!
This location serves breakfast and snack items, such as fresh pastries, cinnamon rolls, snacks and assorted beverages. This location has been closed, but is reopening soon!
Kusafiri will reopen August 29th with new entrees!

Check out the new menu items that will also be available:
- Spiced Potato Hand Pies – Vegetables and potatoes wrapped in pastry served with harissa aïoli and coriander chutney
- Marinated Chicken Flatbread Sandwich – Marinated chicken topped with cucumber–tomato salad, tahini sauce, and greens served with house-made chips
- Red Chili Hot Dog – Spicy hot dog topped with cucumber–tomato salad and harissa aïoli served with house-made chips
