It’s been a little over a year since the parks reopened, and things have slowly been returning to normal. More restaurants, attractions, and play areas have welcomed Guests in recent months as Disney gears up for the 50th anniversary.

It’s definitely exciting to see all the new attractions and restaurants reopen. I (Monica) am crossing my fingers for the reopening of 1900 Park Fare at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa!

Just this morning we shared that The Boneyard at Animal Kingdom has reopened. Now more dining at at Magic Kingdom is opening its doors once again.

One spot that has not reopened yet is Tortuga Tavern in Adventureland. It is located right across from Pirates of the Caribbean and has served as open seating since last summer.

Fortunately, it is open once again! This will help thin Guests in restaurants out as more dining options reopening. Tortuga Tavern is open seasonally from 11 am to 5 pm beginning today.

New Menu

We also have a newly updated menu as well, which can be viewed on Character Locator. You can find everything you need for touring the parks – full maps, touring plans, attraction information, and more.

The old menu boasted items such as hot dogs, brisket sandwiches, and turkey legs.

Now, barbecue sandwiches replace the brisket. Hot dogs and turkey legs remain on the menu. Wash it all down with a Desert Pear Lemonade Pirate Slushy. Also new to the menu is a peanut butter, chocolate-hazelnut spread with banana! Yum!
