New Details for Disney Night on American Idol

Calling all Disney and American Idol fans! You will not want to miss the special Disney Night airing next week. Read on for new details.

Walt Disney World has had a long standing tradition with the American Idol show. Earlier in the American Idol craze, Guests could participate in the American Idol Experience at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

We recently found out the top 9 performers of American Idol would be “Going to Disney World”.

DISNEY NIGHT WILL AIR ON SUNDAY, MAY 2ND 8 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. MT / 5 p.m. PT on ABC

The 9 contestants were able to visit all four theme parks, have some of their favorite Disney snacks, met some fun characters and were able to shop!

Celebrity Meet

Each contestant will be singing to a timeless Disney song on the special. As a fun bonus, all of the contestants were also able to sit one on one with none other than John Stamos right at the Magic Kingdom. Maybe you spotted him at Walt Disney World last week?

According to Disney Parks Blog, he shared that “he hopes ‘Disney Night’ on ‘American Idol’ brings both joy and inspiration to viewers.” I do not always watch American Idol, but I love watching Disney Night.
